University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn

The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM) was founded in 1999 as a result of merging three institutions of higher education in Olsztyn. The Student Parliament in Poland appointed UWM as the most student friendly university in the country, both in 2004 and in 2008. The city of Olsztyn was founded already in the 1400 century and is located by the river Lyna, northeast in Poland.

About the agreement
The agreement covers food science, master and phd-level.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places 
Four per semester, or two for a whole year.

Language of teaching
Polish, Russian and English.

Semester timing 
Autumn semester: October - February.
Spring semester: February – June.

Tuition Fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
