Poznan is one of Poland's oldest and largest cities with about 570 000 inhabitants. The town lies midway between the capitals Berlin and Warsaw, and is an important transportation hub. Poznan University of Life Sciences has a strong focus on the environmental and agricultural fields of study.

About the agreement
The agreement covers biotechnology, biology, agriculture, food science and environmental studies, both on Bachelor and Master level.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places 
Two per semester, or one for a whole year.

Language of teaching
Polish and English (all courses which are offered to international students).

The university offers free Polish language courses to international students.

Semester timing 
Autumn semester: October - February.
Spring semester: February – June.

Tuition Fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.

Accommodation
The university has a room guarantee for Erasmus students.
