About 6.000 students study at Aleksandras Stulginskis University (ASU), formerly called Lithuanian University of Agriculture. The university is located in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania’s second largest city with 360.000 inhabitants. Each year ASU arranges the largest exhibition in the Baltic region within agriculture and forestry. ASU is a good place for developing international and professional contacts,. Kaunas has a charming old town, several large universities and the country’s best jazz festival.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places

Two students for one year each.

Language of teaching
Lithuanian and English.

Semester timing
Autumn semester: Late August – late January.
Spring semester: Late January – mid-June.

Tuition fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.

International students can apply for student rooms.
