The Agricultural University of Iceland participates in the NOVA-network; thus, NMBU students have the possibility of going on a study exchange here, and to receive a Nordplus grant. The university offers classical agricultural studies in areas such as natural resources, environment, forestry and landscape studies.

About the agreement
All subjects generally relating to agriculture are covered by the agreement.

Who can apply
For all Nordplus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places
Several each year.

Language of teaching
Icelandic.

Semester timing
Autumn semester: August - December.
Spring semester: January - May.
 
Tuition fees
Nordplus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
