Clausthal University of Technology (TU Clausthal) is situated in the city Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany's smallest university city. The university has about 2800 students and is located in the scenic Harz mountains, around 100km from Hannover airport. The university has a vibrant international atmosphere, whilst the surrounding nature provides abundant opportunities for outdoor life.

Who can apply
For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

Number of study places
One place a semester.

Language of teaching
German and English.

Semester timing
Autumn semester: October – February.
Spring semester: April - July.

Tuition fees
Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.

Accommodation
There is an accommodation guarantee for Erasmus students.
