Two Skatteforsk researchers elected to the leadership of the International Institute of Public Finance.

During this week's 82nd Annual Congress of the International Institute of Public Finance (IIPF) in Lisbon, Skatteforsk's Research Director, Ron Davies, was elected Vice president for the 2026 - 2029 term, while Skatteforsk research fellow Nadine Riedel was elected president for the 2027 - 2030 term.

The IIPF is the leading international association for public finance economists, bringing together over 500 members from academia and policy institutions worldwide.

Davies har served as professor of Economics at University College Dublin and Skatteforsk's Research Director, he has served as Editor of International Tax and Public Finance since 2013 and as Associate Editor of the Nordic Tax Journal since 2016. His research spans international taxation, multinational firm behavior, and tax competition work that has directly shaped Skatteforsk's own research agenda on tax avoidance and profit shifting.
