Career Day and NMBU Next 2026
NMBU offers a range of courses and events designed to support career development for PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career researchers. One of the highlights of the year is NMBU’s Career Day on 11 February, where students, PhD candidates, and young researchers meet employers from both the public and private sectors to network and gain insight into career opportunities within and beyond academia. PhD advisers will also be present in the exhibition area, offering guidance on PhD education and career pathways.
In addition, NMBU Next 2026 will take place as a full career week in May (18-22 May), featuring lectures, workshops, and practical courses focused on career development, transferable skills, and applied competencies.
