MINA is heavily involved in three centres from the Norwegian Research Council

Bio4fuels, a Centre for Environment-friendly Energy Research (FME) which is developing innovative technology to convert biomass and organic residues to sustainable fuels and energy. CERAD, a Centre of Excellence (CoE), which conducts research on enironmental pollution and radioactivity. The earthresQue centre is a Centre for Research-based Innovation (SFI) funded by the Research Council of Norway which is developing technologies and systems for sustainable handling and treatment of waste and surplus masses.
