Great interest for Noragric's Bachelor programme

Numbers from Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (Samordna opptak) show that Noragric has received 85 first priority applications for the Bachelor programme in International Environment and Development Studies. Last year we received 70, that is an 21 % increase.

Great interest for noragrics bachelor programme

The Bachelor programme has a total of 40 seats. Fifteen of those are reserved for international applicants.

The selection of candidates that have applied through the "Samordna opptak" is expected to be completed by the middle of July.

The deadline for international candidates was December 2013. Then, Noragric received another 653 applications for this programme. The selection of those candidates is already completed and several have confirmed their study place. The international candidates might be coming from Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Britain, Ghana, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Cameroon, Kenya, China, Mongolia, Nederland, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Germany, Uganda, Hungary, USA, Vietnam, Zambia or Zimbabwe.

While the application deadline for the Bachelor programme is passed, the deadline for the Master programmes is still ahead: June 1st.
