The NMBU Buddy Week starts on Friday 8th of August. The rest of the program will be published during July.

15th August – Matriculation ceremony

In the beginning of each academic year (in August), NMBU holds the annual Matriculation Ceremony to introduce new students. The matriculation is a traditional and formal ceremony to commemorate admission to higher education in Norway.

We cordially invite all new students to the ceremony, which will take place on the lawn in front of the Clock Building.

The ceremony will include speeches by Rector, Leader of Student Parliament, Deans and an international student. There will also be music and the distribution of roses. You will find more practical information about the matriculation ceremony here.

  Det er mange gode grunner til å engasjere seg som student. Undersøkelser knyttet til studenters helse og trivsel viser at studenter som deltar aktivt i studentmiljøet og i frivilligheten er mindre ensomme og trives bedre på studiestedet.

  Kandidatundersøkelsen 2020 viser at 44 % av respondentene vurderer at erfaringer fra verv var nyttig i den første jobben etter studietiden. Så ta del i studentmiljøet og engasjer deg!
