As an university, NMBU have the authority to decide which study programmes and disciplines the institution shall provide on all levels. NMBU is therefor alone responsible for the quality of the studies that the institution provide. This requires a satisfactory internal system for quality assurance in accordance to the Act relating to universities and university colleges.
