Khaled Khalil was educated as a food scientist in Syria. He now works in a traineeship in the dairy at  NMBU.

Rummage Sale for Syria at Vitenparken

18 October 2015 - Vitenparken invites everyone to a rummage sale. Proceeds will be donated to Syrian Refugees.

Cultural Show in Support of Refugees

8 November 2015 - The show will be opened at 12:00 by the Student Parliament Leader, Pål Adrian Ryen and continues with speeches, entertainment and international food.

Information Day

1 December 2015 - The University of Oslo (UiO), NMBU and other local institutions have organized an information day for refugees who need assistance in nativating the admission process to higher education in Norway.

Many of the refugees who come to Norway have completed higher education, are researchers or were students when they were forced to leave their home countries. If you would like to continue your studies at NMBU or another academic institution in Norway, the information below can be usefull in the starting the process. Additional questions and inquiries can be sent to opptak@nmbu.no.
