The international atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, you experience Nordic culture while sharing classrooms (and coffee breaks) with people from all over the world. It’s a place where serious academic discussions and warm social connections go hand in hand, and where sustainability is a lifestyle.

I am a non-traditional international student — an advocate for lifelong learning! I had a great career working in in higher education technology systems, communications, and housing quality.
Ultimately, all roads pointed to Norway and to NMBU. The multidisciplinary teaching approach works well for me and has expanded my understanding of the past, present, and future of work to be done.

About me:
My background is in political science and philosophy. I chose this program to learn more about global trade and political economy, and it gives me the chance to take a range of courses within IR, development studies, and economics. I like NMBU because it has a beautiful campus, small class sizes and professors who are experts in their respective fields.
