About the project

The project is led by Nhat Strøm-Andersen, NIBIO

The project’s ambitions are to provide the foundation for knowledge-based decisions by providing a transparent, comprehensive, and multidimensional analysis of the suitability of different feed and feeding strategies.

Our ambition is further to make recommendations for sustainable strategies as well as value chains and policy instruments that can improve sustainability and to improve the framework for sustainability assessment.

To investigate the complex, systemic challenges faced by the livestock farming sector in Norway, Feed&Feeding mobilizes an ardent team, composed of academic partners from the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO), Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), establishing a strong industry collaboration with Norsvin SA, Geno SA, Animalia AS, Felleskjøpet Fôrutvikling AS (FKF), and Green House AS.
