What might social sustainability mean for future food systems?

At this conference, we explore social sustainability as a key to building robust and just food systems in Norway.

Through presentations and panel discussions with representatives from research, business and policymaking, we will examine the role of local communities in food system transitions, along with the opportunities, dilemmas and trade-offs these changes may involve.

Our speakers bring expertise in food production, agriculture, sustainability, social science and food systems analysis from both Norwegian and international perspectives.
