The COST Action CA18214 'The geography of New Working Spaces and the impact on the periphery' focuses on i) sharing the scientific outcomes on new working spaces (definitions, typologies and geographical distributions) ii) comparing the best practices and direct and indirect impacts with a particular focus on the periphery iii) sharing the policy tools across the countries.
The CA18214 provides a interdisciplinary perspective on New Working Spaces which are classified as follows: i) collaborative and creative working spaces (coworking spacesand smart work centres); (ii) makerspaces and other technical spaces (fablabs, open workshops); (iii) other new working spaces (hackerspaces, Living Lab and corporate labs); (iv) informal new working spaces (coffee shops and libraries).
