Eriksen presented preliminary insights from the ongoing research on Klimaplanleggeren, a tool used in Follo to support municipalities in their climate work related to new developments. The tool is inspired by similar tools in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim, but has been adapted by Asplan Viak to meet the needs of the Follo region. She also discussed how different actors can work together to develop knowledge and practices for climate-resilient development (CRD).
The gathering was organised jointly by Akershus County Council and Drammen Municipality. It brought together municipalities and other stakeholders to share experiences and discuss tools for local climate planning.
One important point was that municipalities have different levels of capacity and knowledge, which can make cooperation on climate action challenging. Strong regional networks, such as the Follo region's KEN network, can help share experiences and strengthen expertise. Siri also emphasised the importance of a holistic approach to CRD, connecting emission reductions with climate adaptation, nature considerations and social sustainability.

Professor Eriksen also took part in a panel discussion with representatives from Klimanorm in Bergen Municipality, Asplan Viak and Civitas. Participants were generally positive about the tools, but also discussed the need to further develop them to better incorporate nature considerations and climate-resilient development.
