The Applied Philosophy of Science for Interdisciplinarity group consists of researchers working in the interface between philosophy, social science and natural science at NMBU. In our teaching and research we promote genuine inter- and transdisciplinary communication and collaboration. Areas of research include:

  • Causality and scientific methods
  • Risk and uncertainty
  • Transdisciplinarity in research
  • Research ethics and ethics in research
  • Interdisciplinarity and expert disagreement on sustainability
