This website will be updated in April 2024. The program below shows the previous Introdcution Week.


The Introduction Week runs from 5 - 9 August, including various activies up to 24 August 2024.

Changes and updates to the program on this web page will be made up until the introduction week.

*N.B.  We have created a Facebook group which we use to send out information to incoming new international students.

  • 8:00 - 16:00 Students Arrive                

    • Pick-up service from bus or train stations in Ås to campus.
    • Register for the pick-up service on this form by 4 August.

    SiÅs - Student Mentors                

    If you are wondering about something this weekend, there will be a student mentor available on Saturday and Sunday. You can stop in for free coffee and cookies. Hours and locations are as follows:

    09:00 - 16:00 In front of ABC building in Pentagon.

    09:00 - 16:00 In front of the Student Post Office Building.

    Location: Eika Sport Centre

    17:00-20:00 Volleyball meet up with a small meal!

    Organized by ESN and ISU (wear appropriate clothing)

    Tours will be offered every 15 minutes. You can also join the Ultimate Frisbee team. A yoga class might also be offered.

    Bring your sports gear and shoes, and get ready to exercise! Eika offers team sports, climbing wall, group training in hall and on bike, strength and fitness rooms for self-training, personal training, exercise guidance and dietary guidance.

    Check with your buddy to see what is happening. This activity is connected to your specific faculty.

    Service will be held in Norwegian with a simultaneous translation on headphones.
