Spring Semester 2024

January

4. 4 and 5 Re-examination (konte)
5. 8 Semester starts
6. 8 January Block through 26 January
7. 10 Deadline for January block withdrawal
8. 29 and 30 January Block examination
9. 31 Spring Parallel through 10 May

February

1. 1 Deadline for Spring Parallel registration
2. 1 Deadline for semester registration/semester fee/confirmation of educational plan 
3. 1 Deadline for Thesis registration (withdrawal not possible after 1 Feb)
4. 1 Deadline to apply for exchange studies autumn 2024/spring 2025

March

1. 1 Deadline for registration for re-examination (konte) in May
2. 1 Deadline to apply for special needs facilitation for Spring Parallel, re-examination (konte) and June Block examinations (new applicants only)
3. 25 Easter Holiday through 1 April (no classes)

April

1. 1 Deadline for Spring Parallel withdrawal  
2. 1 Deadline for June Block registration
3. 1 Deadline for re-examination (konte) in May withdrawal
4. 22 Submission of degree thesis opens in WISEflow

May

1. 1 Deadline for June Block withdrawal     
2. 1 Deadline to apply to borrow a computer for digital exam
3. 1 Labor Day - no classes
4. 9 Ascension day - no classes
5. 13 - 28 Spring Parallel examinations
6. 15 Deadline for Thesis submission (if the deadline falls on a Saturday / Sunday or public holiday, the following working day will be the new deadline)
7. 17 National day - no exams
8. 20 Whit Monday - no exams
9. 30 and 31 Re-examination (konte)

June

1. 1 Deadline to apply for transfer to another study program
2. 3 June block through 28 June
3. 14, 21 and 28 June block examinations
4. 28 End of academic year

Please note: Democracy hour Wednesdays in the parallel periods: 12-14 (no classes)

If the above deadlines fall on a Saturday, Sunday or other holiday, the dates are changed to the following working day.

Autumn Semester 2024

August 

7. 5-9 Introduction week for international students
8. 10-11 Registration weekend for new students
9. 12 Semester starts
10. 12 August Block through 30 August
11. 14 Deadline for August Block registration and withdrawal
12. 14 Deadline to apply for special needs facilitation for August Block examination
13. 16 Matriculation Ceremony for new students at 13:00. No classes from 12:00

September

• 2 August Block examination
• 3 Autumn Parallel through 6 December
• 15 Deadline for Autumn Parallel registration 
• 15 Deadline for semester registration/semester fee/confirmation of educational plan 
• 15 Deadline for Thesis registration (withdrawal not possible after 15 Sep)
• 15 Deadline to apply for exchange studies spring 2025

October
