15th August – Matriculation ceremony
In the beginning of each academic year (in August), NMBU holds the annual Matriculation Ceremony to introduce new students. The matriculation is a traditional and formal ceremony to commemorate admission to higher education in Norway.
We cordially invite all new students to the ceremony, which will take place on the lawn in front of the Clock Building.
The ceremony will include speeches by Rector, Leader of Student Parliament, Deans and an international student. There will also be music and the distribution of roses. You will find more practical information about the matriculation ceremony here.
