Goin' - Community Network App for Students

The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) is offering the Goin' app to all students admitted to an English-taught degree program and coming to NMBU on exchange. Connect with your peers and meet future classmates through Goin'!

With Goin', you can engage with both Norwegian and other international students at NMBU and grow your network even before setting foot on campus. Join interest-based groups, start your own, and connect with others who share your hobbies and passions. Begin creating your community today!

How Can You Start Using Goin'?

If you’ve been accepted to the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) in an international bachelor or master’s program or as an exchange student, you’ll receive an email with a registration link for the Goin’ app. Keep an eye on your inbox for this link to join the exclusive Goin’ student community for NMBU.

Privacy Information

Using the Goin’ app is entirely optional, and your consent is required for the app to process your personal data. To create a profile, Goin’ will need to process some basic information (such as your name and email). Any additional details you choose to share are optional and will not affect your ability to use the app. You choose a username that you wish to be displayed with.

Private one-on-one chats are not monitored. However, group discussions are moderated by Goin’ staff to ensure appropriate use or to address concerns raised by students. NMBU does not have access to individual student data or accounts within the Goin’ app. We only receive general, aggregated statistics, such as the number of students from specific countries who have joined or popular discussion topics.
