My teaching is both for our Master students studying in the 5-year master's program in Water and Environmental Engineering (THT261), and for students from other faculties who wish to take exams in basic subjects like municipal engineering (THT100) or in introduction to sustainable stormwater management (the course "THT200 Water Engineering for Landscape Planners"). My expertise is in municipal technical planning, and in recent years I have researched among other things about various strategies for calculating stormwater fees, plan evaluation of thematic municipal sub-plans, indicator development, the NMBU staff and students travel survey, and how municipal technical subjects can be taken care of in municipal spatial planning, e.g. in regulatory provisions for traffic safety, universal design, sustainable stormwater management, I annually supervise master's theses on varied issues within water transport academic topics.
