Sigrid Klæboe Jacobsen

I am Program Director and part of the management team at Skatteforsk – the Norwegian Centre for Tax Research at NMBU. I am responsible for the following areas: coordination of research projects with external partners, data security procedures, PhD courses, documenting and dissemination of research impact, and preparing consultation responses to bodies such as the Norwegian Parliament, the Government, and the EU.

I am a contributing teacher and coordinator of the courses  PhD Course in Research Ethics, Methods, and GDPR Compliance | NMBU and ECN421 Taxes, Inequality, and the Environment. 

My professional background: project consultant, board member and manager in the private sector, including instructor of PMP project management certification. Founding Director of a non‑profit independent organisation on tax. I served as a member of the Government-appointed Tax Advisor Committee (2019) and on the advisory forum for the 'Scheel' Tax Committee (2014).

I hold an MSc in electric power engineering from NTNU and a foundation-level degree in social anthropology.
