Sigrid Klæboe Jacobsen

I am Program Manager and part of the management team at Skatteforsk – the Norwegian Centre for Tax Research at NMBU. My responsibilites include coordinating research projects with external partners, data security procedures, adminestering PhD courses, documenting and communicating the societal impact of research, and preparing consultation responses to institutions such as the Norwegian Parliament, the Government, and the EU. I am a contributing instructor and coordinator of the PhD courses  PHI450 Research Ethics, Methods, and GDPR Compliance and ECN421 Taxes, Inequality, and the Environment. 

Previously, I worked as a project consultant, board member and manager at Holte Consulting. I have experience from construction, IT and energy projects and have worked in Norway, Denmark and Pakistan. In addition, I was responsible for the company's course portfolio, including PMP certification courses in project management. 

I am the founder and former executive director of Tax Justice Norway, and independent organization. I served as a member of the Government-appointed Tax Advisor Committee (2019) and participated in the advisory forum for the 'Scheel' Tax Committee (2014). I have authored and edited several reports and books on taxation, and have extensive experience in public outreach through media appearances, presentations, and training programs on taxation, tax transparency and tax avoidance.

I hold an MSc in engineering from NTNU and have completed a foundation-level studies in social anthropology.
