I am Program Director and part of the management team at Skatteforsk – the Norwegian Centre for Tax Research at NMBU. I am responsible for the following areas: coordination of research projects with external partners, data security procedures, PhD courses, documenting and dissemination of research impact, and preparing consultation responses to bodies such as the Norwegian Parliament, the Government, and the EU.
I am a contributing teacher and coordinator of the courses PhD Course in Research Ethics, Methods, and GDPR Compliance | NMBU and ECN421 Taxes, Inequality, and the Environment.
My professional background: project consultant, board member and manager in the private sector and Founding Director of Tax Justice Norway. I served as a member of the Government-appointed Tax Advisor Committee (2019) and on the advisory forum for the 'Scheel' Tax Committee (2014). I have authored and served as editor for several reports and books on taxation, and have carried out extensive public dissemination through media, presentations, and training programs on tax transparency, tax avoidance and related issues. I have also been course responsible and instructor for PMP certification courses in project management.
I hold an MSc in electric power engineering from NTNU and a foundation-level degree in social anthropology.
