We build multiscale models for the dynamics of electrolytes in porous electrodes, which is relevant to batteries, supercapacitors, and fuel cells.
We use continuum models, MD simulations, and equivalent circuit models, and collaborate closely with the experimental collaborators.
Our group is funded by the Norwegian Research Council through a FRIPRO grant for the project PoreCharge (8 Million NOK).
We contribute to the project BatCAT (funded by EU Horizon Europe) by continuum modeling of redox flow batteries.
