I research and teach how organisations create value through innovation, technology and digital transformation. I focus in particular on operations, efficiency improvement and information systems, and on how data science and business analytics can support better decisions and more sustainable solutions in the private and public sector. I have international experience from academic environments in Switzerland, Denmark and Germany, and since 2017 I have been based at NMBU. Alongside my academic work, I have spent many years as a consultant, with major international companies and government bodies as clients. That experience means I start from real-world challenges and ask: what can actually be implemented, what works, and why? My goal is research and teaching that delivers measurable improvements in businesses, value chains and the choices we make in everyday life.
