Course contents:
The course consists mainly of lectures on the organisation of municipalities" technical services, management, planning and operation of municipal roads and electrical network. Teaching topics include basic principles for dimensioning roads, water supply, use of surface water as a resource, running water and principles for renovation. In addition, lecturing and supervision is given regarding principles for placing and adapting "house to site" and fire fighting principles.
Learning outcome:

The students are to acquire knowledge regarding municipal organisation, as well as planning, construction and operation of municipal technical systems, like buildings, road systems, water and wastewater systems, waste handling and recycling.

Lectures. Group assignment. Guidance when solving the group assignment. Excursion.

Examiner:

The external and internal examiner jointly prepare the exam questions and the correction manual. The external examiner reviews the internal examiner's examination results by correcting a random sample of candidate¿s exams as a calibration according to the Department's guidelines for examination markings.
