My interests lie in computational approaches to understand the biology of gene regulation, data visualization, high-performance computing (HPC), and bioinformatics platform development. I work on computational aspects of comparative and regulatory genomics, with applications to salmonids. My Ph.D. focus area is an identification and classification of non-transcribed and transcribed genomic features involved in gene regulation in salmonid species genomes. I also work as part of the team supporting the HPC resources used mainly by the Centre for Integrative Genetics (CIGENE).
