Jin Xue is professor in urban and regional sustainability planning at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning (BYREG), Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Xue's research interests are in urban and housing sustainable development, second-home planning, degrowth and urban development and planning, urban futures based on scenario planning, and critical realism. Xue is currently the coordinator of the Urban Sustainability research group.
