Erik Gómez-Baggethun is a Professor in Environmental Governance at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and a Senior Research Associate at the University of Oxford. His research covers topics in ecological economics and the environmental and sustainability sciences, with a focus on environmental values and post-growth economics. Erik features five years in a row on Clarivate’s list of the world’s most highly cited researchers in economics and finance. He is president elect of the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE) and a lead author of the values assessment of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).
