Clifton Makate is a Ph.D. research fellow in the school of business and economics, working on a research project titled: Access to seed; from emergencies to seed systems development in Africa. His work in the project focuses on issues to do with Dynamics in household seed security under environmental and socioeconomic stress. Countries of focus include; Tanzania, Malawi, and Ethiopia.
