Aida is an Associate Professor at Noragric. She holds a PhD degree in Environmental Sciences from University of Southampton (UK). Previous to joining Noragric, Aida has worked as a researcher for RSPB (UK's largest conservation NGO), University College London, University of Copenhagen, University of Oxford, Colorado State University and University of York. Her research interests, at the interphase between natural and social sciences, have focused on tropical forest dynamics & carbon stocks, forest ecosystem services, forest conservation and local communities’ adaptation to climate change. Aida has been involved in several interdisciplinary research projects which involved field work in over ten countries in Africa. For more insights into her interdisciplinary research see https://vimeo.com/221740544
