The next edition of the Workshop on the Economics of Taxation will be held at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona from May 31st to June 1st 2023.
The Workshop on the Economics of Taxation is organised by the EU Tax Observatory and the IEB. Head of Skatteforsk, Annette Alstadsæter, is keynote speaker, as well as Gabriel Zucman (UC Berkely/PSE), also Skatteforsk-affiliated.
Call for papers: Both empirical and theoretical submissions on any topic in the field of taxation are welcome, especially contributions dealing with tax evasion and avoidance behaviour, tax enforcement policies, mobility of taxpayers, profit-shifting, redistribution, and inequality. Non-exhaustive list of topics of interest:
- Tax evasion and avoidance strategies by firms and individuals
- Linkages between taxation and income/wealth inequality
- Behavioural responses to taxation
Submission deadline is 12th March 2023, with acceptance decision on 3rd April. Find submission link and more about the workshop here.
