NMBU students are invited to participate with scientific work at the ELLS-conference in Montpellier, France. Call for abstract is open, deadline: 15 June

Are you a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD student at NMBU with an interest in life sciences and sustainable development? You now have a unique opportunity to present your scientific work on an international stage!

The 18th edition of the Scientific Student Conference: Living the ELLSperience – Cultivating Scientific Innovation will be held 5-7 November 2026, at L'Institut Agro Montpellier, France. The conference brings together students from across the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) network – and NMBU is proud to be a member of this international collaboration.

For students – by students

The conference is a platform for students to present bachelor’s, master’s, or early PhD projects, participate in competitions for the best posters and oral presentations, meet and exchange ideas with students and professionals from other ELLS universities, and be inspired for further academic work and collaboration.

The academic program is combined with social activities and cultural exchange. In addition, the conference provides valuable experience in communication, scientific writing, and networking.

What is ELLS?

Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) is a prestigious network of leading universities collaborating in Natural Resource Management, Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Life Sciences, Animal Sciences, Food Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and Rural Development, including Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology. NMBU is a member and actively participates in the network through education, research, and student exchange.
