Just south of the Arctic Circle lies Iceland with its 330.000 inhabitants and 103.000 km2. Iceland offers magnificent scenery, and is well known for its hot springs that Icelanders exploits for both heating, power generation and tourism. If you want to study in Iceland you can choose between two partner universities: the University of Iceland in Reykjavik or the Agricultural University of Iceland in Borgarnes. Reykjavik is the world's northermost capital city and home to about 60% of Iceland's population. Borgarnes is a small town with 2000 inhabitants, 60km north of Reykjavik.
