Belgium is located in Western Europe, in the middle of the European high-speed rail network. This makes it easy to travel both within the country and to other European cities. The country is known to have good universities, and is therefore an attractive exchange destination for students from all around the world. In Belgium 55% of the population speak Dutch, 44% French and less than 1% German, and operates with all three of them as official languages.
