About

Universität Osnabrück is a young and innovative university in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. In a short time, the university has undergone several reforms, especially with regard to teaching. Today, the institution has around 7,800 students divided into three faculties. Osnabrück is known as "The City of Peace", has 170,000 inhabitants and is located approx. 80 km southeast of Lingen.

    The agreement applies to science, mathematics and computing (geomatics and environmental physics).

    Master's level only.

    Length of stay

    1 to 2 semesters.

  • Who can apply

    All Erasmus+ agreements require the completion of 60ECTS prior to a stay abroad begins.

  • Language of instruction

    German (B1)Tysk (kreves B1) and some English

  • Semester timing

    Fall semester: October - February.
    Spring semester: April - July/August.

  • Tuition fees

    Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.
