About

INSA is one of France's elite universities, a grande école, which is now part of the University of Toulouse. Toulouse, also known as the "pink city" because of its ochre-colored roof tiles and brick buildings, is the capital of the French department of Haute-Garonne and is a center of high technology in France.

Established in 1963, INSA Toulouse is located on the Rangueil campus in pleasant surroundings. INSA offers a wide range of cultural activities, clubs and sports facilities for its approximately 2,500 students.e.

  • Agreement

    The agreement applies to engineering and biology/biochemistry.

    NOTE! You must have completed 2 years before you can apply to INSA.

    Length of stay

    1 to 2 semesters.

  • Who can apply

    For all Erasmus agreements it is necessary to have attained 60 credits on your current NMBU program before commencing on an exchange study abroad.

  • Language of Instruction

    French, with the possibility of some courses in English. Intensive French courses are held in August, and in each semester. All students must have a minimum B1 level in French to be able to become an exchange student at INSA.t ved INSA.

  • Semester Timing

    Autumn semester: September till January

    Spring Semester: January till June

  • Tuition fees

    Erasmus students must continue to pay for NMBU’s semester fees, plus register with NMBU whilst they are on exchange. However, it is not necessary to pay any types of fee at the partner university.ervisningsavgifter ved avtaleuniversitetet.
