PheNo: Data management workshop - From Phenotyping Experiment to FAIR Data
We invite researchers, students, and professionals interested in plant phenotyping and data management to participate in a hands-on workshop focused on metadata analysis and data reusability. The activity will emphasize best practices for organizing, storing, and sharing data to maximize its long-term value.

Participants will work with real-world datasets from field trials using UAV-based phenotyping and from controlled environment experiments using the 3D multispectral scanner TraitFinder. You will learn how to process these data and integrate them using PHIS, gaining practical experience with tools that support FAIR data principles.
Through in-person training sessions, participants will develop skills to make their data more accessible and reusable for themselves, the research and breeding communities, and for the benefit of society at large.
There are two types of registration available for the workshop:
- Online Participation (Lecture Only): Fully free, allowing you to join virtually from anywhere in the world.
- In-Person Attendance (Lecture + Hands-On): While there is no registration fee, participants must cover their own transport, accommodation, and meals expenses. In-person attendees are required to arrive a day prior to the workshop, as lectures will begin between 8:30-9:00 AM (CET, UTC+01:00). Please note that in-person attendance is limited to 20 participants.
