Zotero - Reference Management Tool
A 2-hour course introducing how to create a reference library with Zotero.
Zotero is free, easy to use, and helps you collect, organize, cite, and share your sources.
What will you learn?
- How to insert sources you find in Oria, Google Scholar and other databases, or manually enter, into your Zotero library.
- Cite sources from your Zotero library in Word (or whatever word processing program you use).
- How to organize your sources in folders.
- How to share your sources with others in groups.

Target group
The course is open to all students and staff at NMBU.
Preparation and course material
- Bring your own laptop with Zotero installed.
- Download from zotero.org/download, or install from NMBU Software Center on NMBU machine.
- Also download Zotero Connector for the browser you use (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) from zotero.org/download.
- Register at zotero.org/user/login to get a free account with a username and password of your choice.
