Every year, around 160,000 students contribute between NOK 20–60 in addition to their semester fee to support SAIH’s work. At NMBU, students pay NOK 40, contributing to the overall total of NOK 11 million raised annually for programs that defend the right to education and academic freedom internationally.
The Norwegian Students’ and Academics’ International Assistance Fund (SAIH) is a solidarity organization created by and for students and academics. For over 60 years, SAIH has worked to promote higher education and academic freedom as a fundamental human right.
You will learn about the impact of your contribution to support students just like you and discover ways you can actively engage in solidarity work that defends academic freedom and promotes access to higher education globally.
