About this course

TBA 270D is a digital 5-study point version of the course TBA 270. The intention is to offer a fully digitally accessible course. However, any participant is welcome to participate in the TBA 270 lectures if desired. The course will be based on digital accessible videos, presentations and text delivered in Canvas. Main focus will be to examine the roles and participants involved in building projects, project delivery strategies, general project theory, and related themes such as work related crime, how to implement sustainable goals in projects, an overview of the Norwegian building code and the impact of digitalisation.

Learning outcome

Students should have basic knowledge about delivery methods, project theory and related issues.
  • Digital lectures. Self-study. It is possible to participate in the TBA270 lectures, but this is not mandatory. You will manage well without physical attendance, and without attending at certain times.
  • None. The course will fit landscape architects, engineers, architect students and studies within property development.
  • Final written exam or oral exam if few students

  • The external and internal examiner jointly prepare the exam questions and the correction manual. The external examiner reviews the internal examiner's examination results by correcting a random sample of candidates exams as a calibration according to the Department's guidelines for examination markings.
  • Assignments.
  • All lectures will be pre-recorded and digital accessible.
