About this course
The course focuses on gaining both theoretical and practical insight into the opportunities and challenges of interdisciplinary teaching. Interdisciplinary teaching is essential for understanding contemporary sustainability challenges, both locally and globally. Sustainability challenges are complex, and it is important to approach them from multiple perspectives. In teaching about sustainability, it is crucial to foster hope for the future, empathy with people, animals, and nature, an understanding of systems, critical thinking, and solution-oriented approaches. Interdisciplinary teaching should facilitate students’ action competence.
