MATH132 Linear Algebra with Applications
About this course
The course continues with more advanced linear algebra, where we focus on three main themes with applications: diagonalization and systems of differential equations, orthogonal projections and linear regression, as well as spectral theory and principal component analysis.
Learning outcome
Students are to
- Acquire basic ideas and theorems of the theory.
- Master standard methods for systems of differential equations and selected algebraic methods.
- Be able to use this knowledge and these skills when solving simple applied problems.
