Teaching and exam period:Continuous teaching and assessment.

Oral presentation at a conference with more than 50 participants.

After completion the PhD - candidate can present her/his scientific work in an oral presentation for a larger audience.

Present his/her own result in a format of an oral presentation
Be able to crystallise and communicate the main results, methods and conclusions/ hypothesis of her/his study within a given time frame.
Be able to reflect and incorporate feed back from supervisor and other
Edit and shorten long texts without loosing content
Get experienced with different aspects of presentation technique
- literary technique
- verbal and non verbal communication

Learning activities
To prepare, discuss and present a scientific oral presentation based on one's own research at a conference.

Prerequisites
MSc or other equivalent education
Assessment method
After completing the oral presentation, a confirmation (or the program) from the conference is uploaded to the PhD-studentens shared PhD-folder.
