Oral presentation at a conference with more than 50 participants.

Learning outcome

After completion the PhD - candidate can present her/his scientific work in an oral presentation for a larger audience.

  • Present his/her own result in a format of an oral presentation
  • Be able to crystallise and communicate the main results, methods and conclusions/ hypothesis of her/his study within a given time frame.
  • Be able to reflect and incorporate feed back from supervisor and other
  • Edit and shorten long texts without loosing content
  • Get experienced with different aspects of presentation technique
    • literary technique
    • verbal and non verbal communication
  • Learning activities
    To prepare, discuss and present a scientific oral presentation based on one's own research at a conference.

    MSc or other equivalent education
  • Assessment method

    After completing the oral presentation, a confirmation (or the program) from the conference is uploaded to the PhD-studentens shared PhD-folder.
