Course frequency: Annually. Requires planning and organisation of the fieldwork by students. Reservation based on the security situation.
Nominal workload:125 hours. (30 hours preparation, 40 hours field work, 30 hours analysis, 7 hours presentation, 18 hours report writing and editing.
Teaching and exam period:This course starts in August block. This course has teaching in August block and examination in autumn parallell.
About this course
Learning outcome
- Lectures, literature studies, field work, analytical work assignments in groups and individually.
- Tutoring in studio and during field work, as well as comments on presentations and group work material.
- APL103 or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge about theory and professjonal tradition within urban and regional planning, landscape architecture, land consolidation, or architecture.
- Plenary presentations and written report.
Grading: Passed / Not Passed Permitted aids: A1 No calculator, no other aids - External examinor approves the evaluation procedure. Internal examinor avaluates individual and group work.
- Seminar, fieldwork, plenary presentations, work assignments individually and in groups.
The course is provided under the condition of available teacher capacity and a minimum of 18 students. Students organize travel and stay for the fieldwork. The main part of the work takes place in groups of 2.
The course is optional and entails expenses for a study trip (travel and accommodation).
- 3 days start seminar, 1 week field work, 1 day plenary presentation.
- M-BYREG (2nd to 5th year). The course is reserved for 2 students at Property studies and 2 at Landscape architecture.
