I am a PhD student in Economics at the NMBU School of Economics and Skatteforsk – Norwegian Centre for Tax Research, supervised by Annette Alstadsæter.
My research interests include:
- Tax evasion
- Illicit financial flows
- Public economics
- Financial regulation
I am currently working on projects concerning owners’ use of company assets and the dynamics of international bank transfers. My research combines rigorous empirical analysis with policy relevance, aiming to inform both national and international tax policy debates.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a credit risk analyst at BN Bank ASA, which provided me with insight into financial institutions and regulatory frameworks. This experience complements my academic work, strengthening the connection between research, policy, and real-world financial systems.
