Rannveig Margrete Jacobsen

Associate Professor

  • Ecology and Natural Resource Management Section

I'm a forest ecologist focusing on biodiversity in dead wood, but I also work with a broad variety of topics connected with ecology and especially insects. I work 60% as a researcher at the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) and 40% as an associate professor at NMBU, where I'm responsible for the courses ZOOL240 and ZOOL220.

I gladly supervise master students, primarily projects connected with forest ecology or insects. I can propose master theses connected with projects on forest restoration, veteran oaks or alien species.
