Professor in Forest Economics and Planning. Has worked with forestry and use of forest biomass in a climate context (climate change mitigation), multiple use of forests and long-term management of forest areas. In the period 2003-2010, was Head of Department at the Department of Ecology and Natural Resource Management at Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB) and Vice-Chancellor at UMB 2010-2014. From November 2019 I have been Dean at MINA.
