I teach and conduct research in the field of wood technology, specializing in wood properties. This includes effects of silviculture on wood properties, non-destructive evaluation of wood, and sorting of logs for different timber products. My current research is on effects of climate and growth conditions on the properties of structural timber and the use of CT in timber industries.
